As a result, our customers are better served. **Responsibilities** * Implement features and improvements in core engine components, primarily in C\+\+ and C\#, with exposure to distributed systems, concurrency, and performance‑critical code paths. * Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and team design reviews, learning how to reason about correctness, scalability, and long‑term maintainability. * Write unit tests and integration tests and help validate features using telemetry and data‑driven analysis. * Collaborate with partner teams (SQL, Fabric, OneLake, metadata services) to deliver end‑to‑end solutions. * Embody our culture and values. **Qualifications** **Required/minimum qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C\+\+, C\#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. **Additional or preferred qualifications*** Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C\+\+, C\#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2\+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C\+\+, C\#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. * A strong foundation in computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, systems). * Interest for building reliable, large‑scale software and curiosity about how data platforms work under the hood. * Experience with systems programming, databases, or cloud platforms is a plus, but not required. \#azdat \#azuredata This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.
