* Madrid, Madrid, Spain * Engineering * Experienced professionals * 19465 **Join Hilti!** -------------------- We are looking for a Lead Engineer (BIM) with experience managing engineering projects and designing applications based on modular support systems and Firestop, to join our Technical Office team in Madrid. **What will your responsibilities be?** -------------------------------- As Lead Engineer (BIM), your main responsibilities will include: Project acquisition: * At the request of the BIM Project Manager, assess the availability and feasibility of required solutions, scope, and estimated time required to deliver engineering services (Design Core\-Specific), supporting the BIM Project Manager in estimating BIM Services costs. * Estimated quantification of material potential required and defined in the solutions by the BIM Project Manager Project execution * Based on client requirements, develop standard and specific solutions (Design Core \& Specific) to serve as guidance for BIM modelers. * Collaborate actively with the BIM Project Manager in engineering meetings involving all stakeholders to coordinate optimal MEP support/fixing and fire protection solutions. * Participate in coordination sessions with other involved parties (if required), both client-side and internally. * Perform complete application engineering as lead engineer using modular support systems and basic design of related products such as anchors, utilizing either proprietary software or manual calculations, ensuring and guaranteeing engineering documentation complies with required design guidelines. * Collaborate with international BIM Lead Engineers on project execution to develop value engineering and ensure compliance with company BIM engineering standards. **What qualifications do you need?** ---------------------------------- * Mandatory: Civil/Industrial Engineering or Architecture degree * BIM Master’s degree – specialized BIM training * 3 years’ experience in similar roles * English language proficiency at C1 level * Strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer-oriented mindset * Results-driven, ambitious, and competitive spirit * International experience is desirable **What can you expect?** ------------------------ The opportunity to work for a leading multinational company in the construction sector, with an established corporate culture focused on employee care, teamwork, and results orientation. **Why Hilti?** ------------------- Hilti is the global leader in construction innovation, with over 34,000 people across 120 countries.
