**About the Position** We are seeking a **Business Analyst with experience in card issuing (Issuing)** to join strategic projects within the payment ecosystem. The role has a strong functional orientation and will act as a liaison between business, operations, risk, product, and technology, participating in critical processes related to the card and customer account lifecycle. **Important:** It is mandatory to currently reside in Spain. The work arrangement is hybrid, with some days of on-site presence in Madrid. **Responsibilities** * Analyze and define functional processes related to **credit and/or debit card issuance and management**. * Participate in projects related to the **card and account lifecycle**, from issuance through renewal, blocking, replacement, and cancellation. * Analyze and define **authorization, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation** flows from the issuer’s perspective. * Participate in defining and configuring card products, limits, rules, and functional parameters. * Collaborate with business, product, operations, risk, fraud, and technology teams. * Manage and analyze incidents related to transactional processing and issuing operations. * Interact with **issuers, processors/issuer processors, and card schemes** such as Visa and Mastercard. * Participate in projects for evolving issuing and card processing platforms. * Identify opportunities for improvement in processes, products, and customer experience. **Requirements** * More than 4 years of experience as a **Business Analyst or similar functional role**. * Proven experience in **card issuing (Issuing)**. * Knowledge of the credit and/or debit card lifecycle. * Experience working with **issuers, card processors, or issuer processors**. * Functional knowledge of **authorization, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation** from the issuer’s perspective. * Experience with card products, configuration of parameters, limits, and business rules. * Knowledge of card schemes such as **Visa and/or Mastercard**. * Strong analytical capability and end\-to\-end vision of the card issuing and processing process. * Fluent Spanish. * B2 English is desirable. **We Offer** * Participation in strategic projects within the core payment domain. * Exposure to critical processes in the card issuing ecosystem. * A collaborative and cross-functional environment. * High specialization in a rapidly growing sector. * Real impact on business, product, customer experience, and operational optimization. * Hybrid work model from Spain.
