We are seeking a talented and motivated **UAV Mechanical/Electronic Production Technician** (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) to join our dynamic team. As a member of our UAV manufacturing team, you will play a critical role in the production and maintenance of UAV systems. Responsibilities: * Manufacture various UAV components using materials such as sheet metal, fittings, composites, electronic components, and plastics. This may include drilling, sealing, welding, wiring, and connecting materials and components according to specifications. * Assemble, integrate, and install UAV components and systems in accordance with work instructions and engineering drawings. This includes integrating mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems into the UAV airframe. * Independently conduct quality checks following quality instructions at various production stages to ensure components and subsystems meet specifications. Identify and rectify any defects or discrepancies in the manufacturing processes. * Perform tests and calibration procedures on UAV systems to verify performance and functionality. This may include testing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and assemblies. * Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical/electronic issues in UAV systems. Perform defined repairs or replace defective components or assemblies as required to ensure proper operation. * Record and maintain accurate records of manufacturing processes, assembly procedures, quality inspections, and repairs. Document any modifications or repairs performed on UAV systems. * Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency in manufacturing processes. Collaborate with team leads, engineers, and other team members to implement improvements and optimizations. * Comply with industry regulations and safety standards, adhering to safety protocols throughout the manufacturing process. Overall, a UAV mechanical/electronic production technician plays a critical role in the production, maintenance, and quality assurance of UAV systems, contributing to their reliability, performance, and safety. **Requirements** * Vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering Technology, Metalworking Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field. Some positions may require only a high school diploma or equivalent, provided it is accompanied by proven relevant experience or certification. * Proven experience (2\-5 years) in manufacturing operations, preferably within the aerospace or unmanned systems industry and/or aircraft maintenance (LMA A or B), repair, and overhaul, with an understanding of quality control systems. * Familiarity with UAV platforms, components and subsystems, and understanding of flight control systems, avionics, navigation systems, communication systems, and payload integration principles. * Knowledge of health and safety standards, environmental regulations, regulatory compliance, and ethical considerations associated with military aerial vehicles. * Spanish will be your working language. English will be highly valued. * Attention to detail to ensure correct assembly according to specifications. * Effective communication skills to collaborate with technicians, team leads, and other stakeholders. * Analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for diagnosing and resolving issues. * Security clearance may be required depending on the nature of the projects.
