The motto ‘Life Forward’ reflects our commitment to securing a brighter future for all those we serve: better quality of care for our patients; a trusted partner for our customers; and an employer supporting our valuable team. **Summary of Position** ----------------------- As a laboratory technician, your mission will be to carry out radiopharmaceutical preparation and quality control operations, and all related activities, under the supervision of the Responsible Radiopharmacist/Coordinator. **Essential Functions** ----------------------- * Preparation of radiopharmaceuticals on time and according to specifications. * Quality control of preparations according to specifications. * Cleaning of the work area according to specifications. * Reporting on required activities. * Ensuring traceability of all radiopharmaceuticals. * Waste management. * Compliance with radiation protection rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) applicable to extemporaneous radiopharmaceutical preparation. * Proposing modifications to procedures. * Reviewing and issuing Quality Assurance System documents. * Recording non-conformities and customer complaints. * Reporting on raw material stock levels and order status and activities. * Order stock control and consumables control. * Implementing and collaborating in the implementation of the facility’s MVC Plan. * Performing facility operations in accordance with facility procedures and instructions, as well as supervisor directives. * Notifying the supervisor in case of emergency. **Requirements** ---------------- * Higher Technician Diploma in Diagnostic Imaging and Nuclear Medicine, or equivalent qualification with strong affinity for technical subjects. * Training in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and sterile drug manufacturing. * License to operate in radioactive facilities. * Results-oriented. * Capable of working independently. * Teamwork skills. **Competencies** ---------------- **Disclaimer** The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this classification.
