




Job Summary: We are seeking a Social Educator to enhance the quality of life of residents at the Navarcles Residence by designing and implementing sociocultural and educational programs. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and evaluate sociocultural and educational programs. 2. Promote the socialization and integration of service users. 3. Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to improve care. The Navarcles Residence is seeking a Social Educator to enhance the quality of life of service users. 1 Responsibilities related to service users, their families or reference persons: \- Design, implement, and evaluate the annual sociocultural and educational activity program in accordance with the center’s general objectives. \- Adapt the activity program according to the Care and Life Plan (PAiV). \- Convey strategies and tools that facilitate interpersonal relationships and communication to strengthen the development and maintenance of skills required for daily living activities and quality of life, in collaboration with other team members. \- Ensure interaction among service users and between them and their environment, respecting related customs and the cultural diversity of service users. \- Involve families and reference persons (friends, neighbors, etc.) in the center’s dynamics through the sociocultural and educational program. \- Define, create, and adapt, jointly with the occupational therapist, the activities and materials necessary to implement the center’s socioeducational program, supporting the maintenance of users’ capacities. 2 Responsibilities related to the external environment: \- Identify and establish relationships with local entities, associations, schools, leisure organizations, groups, and other residences in the municipality or region to propose interrelation dynamics with external resources, and promote awareness of the center’s activities. \- Promote the participation of service users in the sociocultural and educational activities of the local community where the center is located, to maintain and enhance their socialization and integration. \- Ensure interaction between service users and their immediate environment using meaningful objects. \- Develop and monitor the center’s volunteer program, in collaboration with the Social Worker. 3 Responsibilities related to the interdisciplinary team: \- Inform and encourage other professionals’ involvement in the center’s sociocultural and educational program. \- Coordinate and support group activities promoted by other center professionals. \- Participate with the team in developing the Care and Life Plan (PAiV), jointly establishing agreed-upon goals with the service user or reference person, ensuring alignment with each individual’s interests, capacities, and abilities, and respecting their idiosyncrasies, autonomy, dignity, and right to privacy. \- Participate in developing and periodically reviewing assistance protocols in the field of social education. \- Participate in preparing the center’s annual activity report and other studies or projects, providing data relevant to the scope of expertise. \- Develop and participate in research, teaching, and management projects in the field of social education. \- Participate in and contribute to staff training activities on practice. \- Actively participate, together with other team members, in the center’s continuous improvement plans. * Experience: 6 months.
