Job Summary: We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to supervise, control, and carry out preventive/corrective maintenance of machinery and facilities at a pet food company. Key Highlights: 1. Our company produces wet food for dogs and cats. Since 1991, we have worked with leading premium brands and major European distribution chains. Our workplaces are located in the Barbanza area, in Pobra do Caramiñal and Boiro. Our entire range of wet pet food is produced in sustainable packaging. ### **Main Responsibilities:** * + Supervision and control of facilities * Preventive/corrective maintenance of machinery and facilities * Diagnosis of mechanical failures and timely execution of repairs * Collaboration with the production team to optimize machine downtime * Ensuring proper operation of production lines * Proposing and implementing improvements to production lines and processes * Accompanying external suppliers within our facilities ### **Requirements:** * Minimum education: Medium or Higher Vocational Training Cycle in Electromechanics or related field * Minimum of 2 years’ experience in industrial environments * Knowledge of production processes required * Mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding skills * Food Handler Certification (desirable) * Forklift Operator Training (desirable) * Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) * Availability to work rotating shifts (3 shifts). ### **What We Offer:** * Professional development * Opportunity to join a rapidly growing organization * Salary according to the applicable collective bargaining agreement * Full-time employment with rotating shifts * Job continuity and stability * Social benefits At PetSelect, we are looking for professionals to join our team on a stable basis.
