Company Description At Energy by Cogen, we are looking to bring on board a Systems Technician with education and experience in organizational IT infrastructure. Under the coordination and direction of the Systems Administrator (line manager), you will carry out comprehensive system management for asset monitoring and control. Job Description * 360-degree management of infrastructure at the level of the company’s technological equipment: computers, phones, monitors, accessories, etc., including configuration aspects: * Administration of the corporate tenant * User configuration and administration * Equipment deployment * Installation and maintenance of corporate applications * Installation of digital certificates * Plan, organize, and supervise, together with the Systems Administrator, relationships with the full set of IT vendors. * Ensure compliance with systems and cybersecurity standards, aligning applications and platforms with industry energy standards and current regulatory requirements. Document systems and procedures. * Identify, analyze, and resolve technical incidents related to the organization’s IT infrastructure. Where applicable, coordinate and supervise contractor and vendor work. * Digitalization and innovation. Explore and evaluate opportunities offered by Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Analytics to optimize asset management activities. Propose implementation of innovative solutions and tools for asset and O&M (operations and maintenance) management. * Administer IT and SCADA systems linked to the operation, supervision, and monitoring of all assets within Energy by Cogen’s client portfolio. * Provide technological support through workflow automation, dashboard creation, and enhancement of communications between the control center and assets. * Collaborate in defining technical requirements for incorporating new assets, ensuring efficient and secure integration. Requirements * Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, specializing in systems, data networks, and telecommunications. * Minimum 2–3 years of experience performing similar functions in IT infrastructure and operations support. * Knowledge of automation, control systems, and industrial remote monitoring systems. * Familiarity with major data communication protocols used in the energy industry is desirable. * Added value: proficiency in Python, SQL, and VBA programming languages. * Willingness to travel occasionally to the organization’s workplaces (industrial plants). Additional Information * Permanent contract, full-time. * Salary: €35,000–42,000; 10% variable component.
