**WORK LOCATION:** Madrid, with a hybrid remote work model at 50%. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Operation and optimization of the spot market portfolio on OMIE and REE, covering both supply and generation. * Demand forecasting. * Real-time monitoring of owned and represented generation assets. * Real-time communication with power plants, distributors, transporters, and electricity system operators. * Energy market analysis. * Collaboration in the development of departmental systems and platforms. * Shift work (morning and afternoon shifts). **REQUIRED EDUCATION:** * Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Physics, Mathematics, or Energy). **REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:** * Not required, although prior experience in a similar role is valued. **REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:** * Proficiency in Excel, Python, VBA, and PostgreSQL is highly valued. * Experience in machine learning is desirable. * Intermediate-to-advanced English proficiency. **START DATE:** * Immediate
