Job Summary: DTN is seeking a Field Technician in Barcelona to carry out installation, preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for integrated meteorological systems, with the ability to diagnose and resolve incidents. Participation in innovative projects with global impact DTN needs to incorporate a Field Technician in Barcelona into its maintenance and support team to perform installation, preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for integrated meteorological systems. The position requires on-site diagnostic capability, resolution of technical incidents, and execution of interventions on sensors and measurement systems in industrial or airport environments. The ideal candidate combines knowledge in electronics, electricity, communications, and automation, along with operational skills for direct intervention on equipment deployed across the national territory, including airport environments. The selected candidate will also collaborate in preparing technical reports, functional testing, and documentation processes. We offer: * Integration into a multinational company with over 35 years of experience in meteorology and environmental sciences. * Continuous technical training. * Company vehicle for technical interventions. * Permanent contract with opportunities for professional development. **Main Responsibilities** * Corrective and preventive maintenance of weather stations. * On-site diagnosis and repair of faults at remote stations. * Installation and commissioning of electronic measurement systems. * Evaluation of equipment performance and validation testing. * Configuration of networks, communications, and data logging systems. * Preparation of technical reports and completion of work orders. * Software and firmware updates for devices. * Adherence to defined maintenance protocols for installed equipment. * Cross-functional support for other technical projects within the company. **Requirements** Higher Technical Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Telecommunications, or related fields. At least 1–2 years of experience in technical maintenance of electronic systems, preferably in field operations. Prior experience in meteorological systems will be valued. * Analog and digital electronics; interpretation of schematics and diagrams. * Communication protocols and networking (Ethernet, VPN, RS-232/485, TCP/IP). * Low-voltage electricity, electrical regulations, and protective devices. * Instrumentation: wind, temperature, and humidity sensors. * Use of diagnostic tools, multimeters, data loggers, and maintenance software. * Valid driver’s license (Class B). * Willingness to travel locally and nationally. * Technical level of English (written comprehension and documentation). * Time management skills and ability to work autonomously. * Experience in airport or industrial environments. * Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). * Networking and communications, communication protocols, basic network configuration, local area networks (LAN), VPNs, remote desktop access. * Electrical installer certification. * Proficiency with tools such as AutoCAD, Visio, or SCADA software. * Fluent English: spoken, written, and reading. **What We Offer** * Hybrid work model. * Health, life, and accident insurance. * Meal vouchers and childcare vouchers. * Continuous training. * Company vehicle for technical interventions. * Permanent contract and opportunities for professional development. * Participation in innovative projects with global impact. **Compensation:** *The anticipated base salary range for this position is between €19,312 and €25,750. DTN is a performance-based organization, meaning your compensation may increase over time based on your performance. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, education/training, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity, and applicable legislation. The stated base salary range for hiring is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
