Promotion of excellence and innovation ### **Description** Grupo Ortiz is looking to incorporate a Railway Track Construction Manager with specific experience in railway track construction for a project in Cantabria. The ideal candidate will be a Civil Engineer with at least 5 years of demonstrable experience in managing and executing railway construction projects. ******Main Responsibilities:** * Planning, organizing, and supervising all phases of the railway construction project, ensuring compliance with deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. * Management of work teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. * Technical execution control, ensuring correct application of regulations and specifications. * Management of occupational health and safety on site, promoting a preventive culture. * Preparation and monitoring of work plans, schedules, and budgets. * Supervision of proper execution of railway construction works, including earthworks, track installation, etc. * Resolution of technical and construction issues arising during project execution. * Fluent and effective communication with project management, clients, and other stakeholders. * Ensuring compliance with environmental requirements. ### **Requirements** **Job Requirements:** * Degree in Civil Engineering or related technical field. * Minimum 5 years’ experience as Construction Manager, including at least 3 years’ specific experience in railway track construction. * In-depth knowledge of techniques and regulations applicable to railway infrastructure construction. * Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Presto, etc.). * Willingness to reside and work in the project area in Cantabria. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in high-speed rail projects. * Knowledge of other railway systems. * Additional training in project management (PMP, etc.). * Technical English proficiency. ******Why Grupo Ortiz?**At Grupo Ortiz, we value commitment, excellence, and innovation.
