




Job Summary: We are seeking a technician for an environmental and social education project, designing and implementing school gardens and sustainability workshops. Key Highlights: 1. Collaborative and dynamic work environment. *With Feet on the Ground* is an environmental education and social inclusion project aimed at promoting sustainability in rural areas through the creation of school gardens and activating the Casablanca Center as a regional ecosocial learning space. The project will be implemented in collaboration with educational centers in Almargen and Campillos, involving students, teachers, people with intellectual disabilities, and elderly residents of the region. The selected candidate will join La Polea’s technical team and work in coordination with the broader educational and environmental team. Key responsibilities include: * **Participatory design and installation of school gardens**, together with teachers from the schools. * **Facilitation of agroecology and sustainability workshops** with students from Early Childhood, Primary, and Secondary Education (ESO). * **Supporting teachers** in integrating workshop content into the curriculum. * **Designing and delivering educational activities** at the Casablanca Center during school visits. * **Maintaining environmental education spaces**, including gardens, green areas, and center animals. * **Designing and developing teaching materials**, such as teacher manuals and student field notebooks. * **Collaborating on project evaluation and documentation**, participating in coordination meetings and report writing. Minimum Requirements * University degree or higher vocational qualification in fields related to **environment, environmental education, biology, environmental sciences, organic agriculture, or similar.** * Experience in **facilitating educational or environmental workshops**, especially with children or youth. * Basic knowledge of **school gardens, agroecology, and sustainability.** * Ability to work collaboratively and coordinate with educational centers. * Valid driver’s license and availability to travel within the Guadalteba region. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in **environmental education projects in rural settings.** * Knowledge of **circular economy, composting, biodiversity, or agroecology.** * Ability to **create teaching or outreach materials.** * Residence in the region or nearby municipalities.
