At Boomerang, a boutique consultancy specializing in middle and executive management recruitment, we are partnering with a fast-growing hotel management company to hire a Hotel Facility Manager to join the team and lead technical management, operational maintenance, and process standardization across the company’s hotel portfolio. We seek a candidate with a solid technical foundation, an engineering degree, direct experience with hotel machinery and installations, and availability for frequent travel to various hotel properties. A practical, preventive, and operationally efficient approach is essential. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES * Technical management and maintenance of machinery * Comprehensive supervision of maintenance for hotel machinery and installations (HVAC, hot water systems, electricity, plumbing, kitchens, laundry, fire protection systems, etc.). * Define and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans. * Monitor technical incidents and resolve them in coordination with local teams. * Ensure availability and proper functioning of critical equipment. * Facilities governance and standardization * Design and implement common technical procedures across all hotels. * Define maintenance and machinery operation standards. * Establish schedules for mandatory inspections, reviews, and controls. * Ensure accurate technical documentation for all assets. * Vendor management and travel * Coordinate and supervise external technical vendors. * Negotiate and monitor maintenance contracts. * Control costs associated with maintenance and facilities. * Availability for regular on-site visits to various hotels for supervision. * Business partner for Operations * Work directly with hotel managers and operational teams. * Identify recurring issues and propose technical improvements. * Provide technical support for hotel openings, renovations, and operational adjustments. * Translate operational needs into efficient technical solutions. * Preparation for growth * Implement a scalable facilities structure for new assets. * Participate in technical due diligence for machinery and installations. * Support CAPEX projects, equipment replacements, and facility upgrades. * Anticipate future investment and maintenance requirements. * Regulatory compliance and safety * Ensure compliance with technical regulations, safety standards, and occupational health and safety legislation (PRL). * Coordinate technical and legal inspections. * Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks. * Liaise with regulatory bodies and specialized technical entities. * Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or related field). * Additional training in industrial maintenance, facilities management, or occupational health and safety (PRL) is desirable. * Prior experience in hotel, healthcare, or machinery-intensive environments is highly valued.
