Job Summary: We are seeking an active audiovisual professional to lead the design and validation of the academic curriculum for a Master’s Program in Television and New Media Direction. Our mission is to train a new generation of audiovisual talent using original teaching materials developed by industry professionals, supported by our team of tutors and instructors. We are looking for an active audiovisual sector professional to lead the design and validation of the academic curriculum for the Master’s Program in Television and New Media Direction (1500 hours). The selected candidate will play a key role in defining a study plan aligned with current industry needs, integrating both traditional television direction and emerging digital and streaming production workflows. Required Experience: * Master’s degree in Audiovisual Communication, Cinematography, or Television Direction. Pedagogical training (CAP or Master’s in Education) is highly valued. * Media Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Director/Producer at national broadcasters or production companies. Practical experience on mobile units and studio sets. * Currently active as a Director/Producer. * Experience in New Media: Leadership of streaming projects or digital content channels. * Bibliographic curation: Ability to select up-to-date resources (not textbooks from 1995), including papers from the EBU (European Broadcasting Union) and technical manuals from current equipment manufacturers. * Industry connections: Knowledge of the professional profiles currently sought by production companies, enabling curriculum alignment with real-world employability needs. Required Skills: * Mastery of the directing workflow: In-depth knowledge of end-to-end workflows—from pre-production through distribution on OTT platforms. * Technological vanguard: Proficiency in Virtual Production terminology (ICVFX), cloud-based workflows, streaming protocols (SRT, RTMP), and implementation of Generative AI within audiovisual pipelines. * Software: Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, Unreal Engine applied to broadcast, and production control systems (Blackmagic, Ross, TriCaster). * Vision of “New Media”: Understanding of streaming narratives, vertical video, and production for OTT platforms. Up-to-date awareness. * Ability to compare existing curricula and identify gaps (commonly lack of XR technology or cloud-based workflows). Required Tools: * vMix / OBS Studio * NDI Protocol * PTZ Systems: Robotic cameras controlled via joystick—currently demanded by companies to reduce costs. * Unreal Engine * DaVinci Resolve * Adobe After Effects * Generative AI (Runway / ElevenLabs) * Restream / Teradek: For simultaneous broadcasting across five platforms (Twitch, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.). * Real-time metrics: Ability to interpret live chat data to adjust direction dynamically.
