DRIVER FOR COLLECTIONS

Job Summary: We are seeking drivers for collection, loading, unloading and transportation of goods, classification and management of waste, with support in vehicle transfers and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Loading, unloading and transportation of goods (textiles, bulky items, WEEE) 2. Classification, registration and management of goods according to type and condition 3. Driving vehicles and operating warehouse machinery Two drivers for collections are required. This vacancy is exclusively intended for individuals belonging to the group of LONG-TERM UNEMPLOYED PERSONS. These individuals must be registered as unemployed with the Public Employment Service of Catalonia as non-employed jobseekers (DONO). This offer is funded under the subsidy scheme for non-profit entities within the framework of the Work and Training 2025 Programme – ESAL Lines, co-financed by the European Union. \- Loading, unloading and transportation of goods (textiles, bulky items, WEEE). Execution of routes based on container locations, recycling centers, schools, civic centers, shops and private households. \- Classification, registration and warehousing of goods and all types of bulky items according to type and condition, based on criteria such as volume, weight or fragility. \- Storage and distribution of goods in the warehouse according to criteria such as volume, weight or fragility. \- Driving vehicles and other warehouse machinery (e.g., pallet trucks). \- Cleaning and maintenance of vehicles, as well as management of transported waste. \- Support in relocation tasks, clearing premises, apartments, schools, industrial buildings, etc. \- Daily written communication to the direct supervisor regarding service incidents, materials, etc. \- Waste management in compliance with current regulations. * Catalan (spoken: intermediate, written: intermediate) * Spanish (spoken: intermediate, written: intermediate) * Competencies / knowledge: \- Ability to work in a team \- Planning and organizational skills \- Proactivity \- Physical fitness \- Experience driving vans. * Driving licence: B * Temporary employment contract (12 months) * Full-time working hours * Gross monthly salary: 1460 * Additional information: Working hours from 6–14h, Monday to Friday.
