Job Summary: We are seeking a geriatric care assistant to support care planning, assist with daily activities, and promote residents' autonomy. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support in developing individualized care plans 2. Assistance with residents' daily basic activities 3. Promoting residents' autonomy and safety We are looking for personnel to work as a geriatric care assistant in Siero (Asturias). Duties include supporting the team in developing individualized care plans, assisting residents with daily basic activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, meals, medication administration, using the restroom, and mobility, as well as monitoring their condition and promoting their autonomy and safety. To be eligible for this position, candidates must hold a qualifying credential, such as the CFGM in Nursing Auxiliary Technician, the Professional Certificate in Socio-Healthcare for Dependent Persons in Social Institutions, or equivalent qualifications. Candidates must also be available to commute to the workplace in Balbona. A temporary contract is offered, with full-time hours on a weekly rotating shift schedule (morning, afternoon, and night shifts, with established rest periods). Salary and other employment conditions are governed by the VIII State Framework Collective Agreement for Services for Dependent Persons and Promotion of Personal Autonomy.
