ROAD MAINTENANCE WORKER (FIRST-CLASS TECHNICIAN)

Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a first-class road maintenance technician to perform maintenance and repair tasks on roads, including surveillance, pothole repair, vegetation pruning, and operation of winter maintenance vehicles. Key Responsibilities: 1. Road surveillance and response to accidents and incidents. 2. Repair of barriers, signage, and road surfaces. 3. Operation of winter road maintenance vehicles and maintenance tasks. Road Maintenance Worker (First-Class Technician) • Surveillance and response to accidents and incidents • Lane closure operations • Repair and installation of metal barriers, vertical signage, and delineation elements • Manual and/or mechanical mowing and cleaning of roadside ditches • Pothole repair and road surface restoration • Vegetation pruning, felling, and clearing • Excavation and stabilization of slopes and drainage structures • Masonry work for maintenance and repair of road infrastructure • Operation of winter road maintenance vehicles for salt spreading and snow removal * Minimum 1 year of experience. First-class technician with experience in the construction sector, preferably in road maintenance. * Driving license: Class C * Permanent employment contract * Full-time working hours * Additional information: Salary according to the Girona Construction Collective Agreement
