Description
You will perform welds to high quality standards using TIG, MIG, and laser techniques. You will read and interpret technical drawings to fabricate precise components, working on projects that combine metal and glass structures. You will be part of a metallurgy-focused team, where your work contributes to manufacturing durable components. You will also collaborate on optimizing welding processes, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety regulations.
Interpreting drawings is essential to anticipate requirements and adjust parameters, reducing errors and improving efficiency. You will participate in preventive equipment maintenance tasks and in preparing materials and surfaces prior to welding. This role requires attention to detail and commitment to quality, as each component must meet exact tolerances.
You will work in a dynamic environment with stable working hours that facilitate work-life balance. Initial training will be provided to help you quickly adapt to the position, and internal promotion opportunities are available for those demonstrating initiative. The work environment is collaborative, with smooth communication across departments. You will also verify weld quality through visual inspections and basic non-destructive testing.
Minimum 2 years of demonstrable experience in TIG and MIG welding. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings. Education: Vocational Training (FP) Intermediate Level in mechanics, welding, electricity, or similar (preferred). Residence near the Olot area. Ability to work with laser welding and adjust parameters according to specifications.
