YOUR NEW ROLE We are seeking a Software Engineer proficient in .NET and with extensive experience designing applications using MVC/MVVM patterns to join our team responsible for developing and implementing the in-store payment system—New POS (Point of Sale)—one of the Company’s most strategic projects. We operate in over 100 countries, with more than 2,300 stores and over 4,000 POS systems worldwide. We value diversity, so our team will be multidisciplinary, organized into agile squads comprising a Product Owner (PO), several Business Key Users, a UX/UI specialist, a QA specialist, a Tech Lead, and multiple Software Engineers working collaboratively. We apply agile methodologies (Scrum framework) because we aim to deliver value to Mango’s customers every day—and continuously adapt to feedback and changing circumstances. On a day-to-day basis: Your main objective will be to participate in the development and implementation of the New POS (Point of Sale): * Perform technical design of components and integrations. * Develop front-end components using MAUI and back-end components using .NET / C#. * Collaborate with other teams on integration components with external platforms (MongoDB, ELK, MuleSoft, Kafka, SAP). * Ensure technical quality across all components by reviewing pull requests, unit tests, etc. * Participate in integration testing, coordinating closely with relevant teams. ABOUT YOU: * Degree in Computer Engineering or related field. * You are organized, proactive, customer-oriented, enjoy teamwork, and embrace new challenges. * You are curious and drawn to emerging technologies and Generative AI. * Advanced English proficiency is highly valued. * Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Software Engineer. * In-depth knowledge of the .NET platform (Core and Framework). * Familiarity with design patterns and best practices, including MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture. * Experience programming in C#. * Experience with Entity Framework and SQL Server. * Experience building RESTful APIs. * Experience programming with MAUI. * Advanced proficiency with GIT and Bitbucket (or similar tools).
