Description

The Warehouse Operator position involves comprehensive management of logistics processes within a warehouse environment. Key responsibilities include receiving goods, ensuring their correct identification and accurate counting in accordance with incoming documentation. Subsequently, products are classified and stored in designated locations according to established criteria to optimize space utilization and facilitate item retrieval. Another critical function is order preparation and dispatch, which entails picking items according to picking lists, properly packaging them, and generating the corresponding outgoing documentation. Additionally, the operator performs basic warehouse maintenance tasks such as cleaning and organizing, as well as inventory management. This role is essential for ensuring stock accuracy, internal supply chain efficiency, and on-time delivery performance. Work is carried out in a dynamic environment requiring attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures. Collaboration with other team members and departments is crucial to coordinate daily activities and resolve any logistical issues that may arise. In summary, the warehouse operator is a cornerstone of daily warehouse operations, directly contributing to overall facility efficiency and productivity. The offered contract is full-time, Monday to Friday, providing weekly schedule stability. Working conditions comply with the applicable sectoral collective bargaining agreement. The position includes integration into an established work team. The work environment is an industrial warehouse, requiring the ability to perform tasks involving standing, walking, and periodically handling loads. A Higher Vocational Training qualification or equivalent experience in fields such as Maintenance or Electrical Engineering is required. Basic proficiency in SAP for warehouse management is mandatory. Competencies in basic maintenance of industrial machinery or warehouse equipment are valued. A minimum English language level equivalent to B1 is required for interpreting technical documentation or instructions. A minimum of one year’s experience in similar positions within a logistics warehouse environment is required.
