Job Summary: We are seeking a Sheet Metal Folder to set up, operate, and supervise folding machines, ensuring precision in metal bending and forming. Key Highlights: 1. Proficiency in blueprint interpretation and measurement We are a company specialized in the **assembly of ambulances and special vehicles** (medical, police, and mobile units). Our work focuses on quality, safety, and innovation to deliver solutions tailored to emergency services and professionals. We seek to hire a **Sheet Metal Folder** to reinforce our production team. **Main Responsibilities:** \-Configure and operate folding machines to bend and shape metal plates and sheets. \-Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production programs to determine specifications required for each job. \-Select appropriate tooling, dies, and machine settings for each folding operation. (SMED) \-Place metal plates and sheets onto the folding machine and align them precisely according to specified dimensions. \-Adjust machine parameters—such as speed, pressure, and depth—to ensure accurate metal folding and forming. \-Monitor folding machine operation and perform necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity. **Required Skills:** \-Proficiency in operating folding presses and knowledge of metal sheets. \-Coordination and manual dexterity for handling metal sheets and familiarity with various folding techniques. \-Attention to detail and ability to ensure precision and accuracy in all folding and forming tasks. Requirements ✔ Minimum of **1–2 years’ experience as a sheet metal folder** or in a similar role. ✔ Knowledge of **blueprint interpretation and measurement** (calipers, squares, etc.). ✔ Experience with **CNC folding machines** is desirable. ✔ Ability to work in a team and attention to detail. ✔ Relevant training in **mechanical manufacturing, boiler-making, or metalworking** is advantageous.
