Problem-solving and decision-making to achieve objectives. **Shift Leader (Tablet Manufacturing)** **What We’re Looking For** Individuals eager to take on one of the strategic roles within the area, with aspirations for growth in team management and talent development, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, a clear focus on continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, and adaptability to new technologies. Reporting to the Tablet Manufacturing Area Leader, your primary mission will be to ensure production by complying with safety and quality standards, developing your team to work toward continuous improvement, proposing innovative solutions and opportunities that support exceptional achievement of objectives. The complexity of the area—arising from multiple distinct processes executed within it—combined with the high standards required as an FDA-regulated area and one involved in launching new products, demands individuals with strong process control capabilities, critical thinking, thorough knowledge of safety and quality standards, and outstanding leadership ability. This is a one-year temporary position. **Key Responsibilities:** * Achieve area objectives by resolving day-to-day issues and making decisions that guarantee compliance with safety and quality standards. * Manage organization and coordination within your area of responsibility, fostering an environment conducive to guiding the team toward achieving objectives. * Lead continuous improvement-based projects. Inspire and develop your team to work proactively and innovatively. * **Requirements:** * University degree, preferably in engineering, pharmacy, chemical sciences or related fields. * Solid experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company, preferably in manufacturing areas. * Experience managing people teams, at minimum indirectly (e.g., project management). * Ability to make complex decisions, set clear expectations, communicate effectively, manage teams, and possess skills to inspire and develop people. * Problem-solving and continuous improvement aligned with OneGPS standards. * Intermediate English proficiency. **Desirable:** * Direct people-team management experience will be valued. * Knowledge and experience using computer systems for management (SAP, EBR, Hector, cDISY) will be valued.
