Proactive hazard mitigation and improvement of working conditions **What you’ll do:** ------------------- We are looking for an experienced EHS Specialist to join our EHS team, actively contributing to the continuous improvement of safety, environmental protection, and fire protection standards at our facility. Familiarity with Polish legal requirements concerning environmental protection (EHS) and fire protection (FP), as well as ISO 14001/45001 management systems, is essential. Independence, conscientiousness, and meticulousness in preparing data, documentation, and reports—both under Polish law and corporate requirements—are also critical. An innovative mindset and willingness to streamline processes are highly valued and supported. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Representing the company regarding fire protection/environmental protection (FP/EHS) before administrative authorities, supervisory bodies, and certification bodies. * Conducting workplace condition inspections and verifying compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS)/environmental protection (EHS) and fire protection (FP) regulations and standards. * Delivering training programs on fire protection/environmental protection (FP/EHS). * Overseeing proper implementation of Integrated Management System requirements * per ISO 14001 and 45001, as well as the corporate OHS/EHS system (MESH). * Proactively driving continuous hazard reduction and improvement of working conditions across all job positions. * Obtaining, verifying, and updating environmental protection (EHS)-related decisions, permits, and notifications. * Monitoring and supervising external contractors’ activities. * Supervising and performing routine technical inspections of fire protection installations. * Preparing official environmental protection reports required by applicable regulations. **Qualifications:** ------------------- * Bachelor’s or higher degree (preferably in OHS/EHS). **Skills:** ----------- * Fire Protection Inspector credentials and relevant professional experience. * Solid, practical knowledge of current occupational health and safety (OHS) legislation and standards (ISO 14001 / 45001\). * English language proficiency sufficient for fluent communication. * Ability to set and achieve goals. * Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills. * Independence, accuracy, conscientiousness, and attention to detail. Preferred: * Ability to read technical drawings. * Proficiency in AutoCAD.
