The position is part of the company's finance department and is responsible for managing and controlling specific cost budgets associated with projects in the transportation, assembly, and construction sectors. This involves comprehensive financial monitoring and continuous oversight of costs throughout all phases of new projects, ensuring financial viability and adherence to established budgets. In addition, the professional will be responsible for analyzing any budgetary deviations that arise, identifying their causes, and proposing corrective measures to optimize resource management.
Another key responsibility is preparing detailed and periodic reports on cost status, primarily using the ERP SAP software for data extraction and processing. This analysis must provide a clear and accurate view of each project's financial situation, facilitating decision-making by management. Furthermore, the role requires smooth coordination and communication with other departments—such as engineering, procurement, and project management—to align objectives and ensure financial information remains consistent and up to date.
