Nalco Water, an Ecolab company, is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join its Nalco Paper team—a sector leader. You will be responsible for driving revenue and profit growth for programs and services across assigned accounts. Using a consultative sales approach, you will build relationships with existing customers by executing system assurance programs that meet their key business needs. With strong account leadership, you will also convert strategic competitor accounts and sell new technologies to current customers. **What We Offer:** * The opportunity to tackle some of the world’s most critical challenges—helping customers achieve clean water, safe food, and healthy environments. * The chance to make an impact and shape your career within a company passionate about growth. * Support from an organization that believes it is essential to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve excellence. * Access to best-in-class resources, tools, and technology. * A comprehensive benefits package aligned with market and industry standards, plus significant social benefits. * A paid training program enabling you to learn from successful professionals. * A flexible and independent work environment where you plan your own schedule. * A company vehicle for both professional and personal use. **Responsibilities:** * Develop and execute sales plans for the existing customer base and assigned competitive accounts to achieve profitability goals. * Collaborate closely with current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans to sustain and grow sales. * Build strong relationships with key stakeholders at current and prospective customers, including plant or facility executives. * Provide technical support to customers by identifying and resolving customer issues, escalating as necessary. * Participate in problem resolution by conducting system analyses, interpreting data, and issuing written recommendations to ensure optimal customer operations. * Actively sell and support Nalco Water innovations and technologies to assigned customers to foster long-term business relationships with Nalco Water. **Territory/Location Information:** * This position is based in Navarra. * The territory covers Navarra and the Basque Country (Pamplona or surrounding areas and San Sebastian). * 50% travel is required. **Minimum Requirements:** * Engineering degree (chemical, pulp & paper, mechanical, industrial). * Experience in water treatment or specialty chemical industry. * 8 years of experience in technical sales or field sales support. * Valid driver’s license. * Strong English proficiency and native-level Spanish. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Practical knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems. * Experience establishing and maintaining safety procedures and policies, or promoting a safety culture. * In-depth knowledge of paper machine operations, wet-end chemistry, and pulp mill operations. **About Nalco Water:** In a world facing increasing water scarcity and pollution challenges, Nalco Water—an Ecolab company—helps customers conserve over 161 billion gallons of water annually.
