Job Summary: We are seeking a Refrigeration Technician to perform corrective and preventive maintenance, ensuring optimal operation and efficiency of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. Currently, we are looking for a Refrigeration Technician tasked with executing assigned corrective and preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and safety of refrigeration systems in both commercial and industrial segments. Ensure compliance with the highest safety standards while promoting efficient energy use to optimize facility performance **Main Responsibilities** * Diagnose and repair faults in refrigeration installations by identifying failures and replacing defective components (e.g., compressors, fans, expansion valves, tensioners, etc.). * Carry out assigned preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, ensuring their completion. * Handle fluorinated gases and other refrigerants in accordance with current environmental regulations. * Provide technical advice to customers, ensuring professional and personalized service. * Perform refrigeration interconnections and insulation of refrigeration systems, ensuring correct installation of piping, cabling, and related components. * Configure control equipment, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and controlled devices in refrigeration installations based on specified operating conditions. Responsible for performing work according to instructions provided by supervisors, adhering to professional best practices, and projecting a consistent, clean, hygienic, safe, effective, and high-quality image. **Job Requirements:** * Minimum 4–5 years’ experience maintaining refrigeration systems in supermarkets. * Ability to interpret advanced electrical and mechanical schematics. **Required Education:** * Vocational Training Program (GM or GS) – Installation and Services Family – Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Installation – Electromechanics or Electricity. * Certification authorizing handling of fluorinated gases of any charge. * Solid knowledge of welding techniques: TIG, MIG, oxy-fuel, and electric arc.
