Join our teams and help us design solutions that drive performance and transformation for thousands of organizations worldwide. **What Are Your Main Objectives as a Software Backend Developer?** As a Software Backend Developer, you will join our Product Development team at our **Sant Cugat del Vallès** offices, contributing to the design, development, and evolution of the **Ekon** product line. You will work closely with Product, UX, Technical Architecture, and SaaS teams to build innovative, scalable, and high-quality enterprise solutions. You will participate in all phases of the development lifecycle—from functional analysis and technical design to testing, optimization, and application maintenance. As a Software Backend Developer, your main responsibilities will be: * Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and SQL technologies. * Collaborate with Product Managers, UX specialists, and Technical Architects to translate functional requirements into efficient technical solutions. * Actively participate in Agile (SCRUM) teams, contributing to sprint and release planning. * Ensure software quality through testing, debugging, performance analysis, and adherence to best development practices. * Contribute to test automation and continuous improvement of development processes. * Participate in data integration and web services projects, as well as integrations with partner solutions. * Apply company-established development, architecture, and security standards. * Participate in estimation, analysis, and planning of development tasks together with the rest of the team. **About You** -------------------- * You hold a university degree in Computer Engineering or an equivalent qualification. * You have experience developing enterprise applications with Java and SQL, along with solid object-oriented programming knowledge. * You have experience working with Agile methodologies. * You possess application architecture knowledge, with particular value placed on experience with hexagonal architecture. * You are familiar with DevOps tools and practices, as well as continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes. * You have worked with unit testing and test automation. * You are familiar with AI tools applied to development, such as GitHub Copilot or similar. * B2 level English is valued. *Beyond technical skills, we seek talented professionals eager to demonstrate and develop their full potential by embracing new opportunities with us.
