Project Manager \- Water Supply, Sanitation and Wastewater Treatment Cooperation \- (Madrid with long-term deployment to Guatemala) **Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in engineering, consultancy, and technical assistance activities in agricultural, livestock, forestry, and environmental matters, seeks to hire 1 Project Manager to provide support in Water Supply, Sanitation and Wastewater Treatment Cooperation in Madrid with long-term deployment to Guatemala. **Workplace** -------------------- * Madrid headquarters of Tragsatec Madrid with long-term deployment to Guatemala **Functions and Responsibilities** ---------------------- * Technical, financial, and administrative project control to ensure timely execution and implementation of corrective measures for deviations * Oversight of procurement procedures and resolution of contractual issues * Monitoring and supervision of Water and Sanitation projects to ensure their implementation and sustainability * Promotion of integrated water resource management and capacity strengthening * Monitoring and control of project implementation teams to meet agreed-upon results **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with the requirements and/or merits must be substantiated by completing evaluation tests and/or attaching necessary documentation in the “Annexes” section of the registration questionnaire. The Tragsa Group reserves the right to request at any stage of the process documentary evidence supporting the data declared in the application, as well as to require additional information from the curriculum vitae whenever necessary to verify the stated requirements and/or merits detailed in this vacancy announcement. ### **Education** #### **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s or undergraduate degree \+ Official Master’s degree in Geology, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, or Engineering / Technical Engineering / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering \+ Official Master’s degree in Engineering or Architecture, or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Technical Architecture / Bachelor’s degree in Technical Architecture \+ Official Master’s degree in Architecture (MECES Level 3\) (degree recognized in Spain or equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities) ### **Prior Experience** * At least 1 year of employment-contract experience in water project design and planning * At least 1 year of employment-contract experience in monitoring and/or supporting coordination of international cooperation projects ### **Other Mandatory Requirements** * Availability for long-term travel to Guatemala **Merit Criteria (Evaluated)** ------------------------ ### **Education** #### **Additional Training** * Training in International Development Cooperation and/or Humanitarian Action and/or Water Management, Treatment or Wastewater Treatment ### **Prior Experience** * From 2 to 5 years of experience in design and/or planning of projects targeting integrated water resource management (employment-contract experience) * From 2 to 5 years of experience in design, review and/or evaluation of interventions in the Water and Sanitation sector, focusing on drinking water supply systems, sanitation, and wastewater treatment (employment-contract experience) * From 2 to 5 years of experience in monitoring and/or supporting coordination of internationally funded cooperation projects (employment-contract experience) **Observations** ----------------- * Offer includes: + Fixed-term contract with an estimated duration of 8 months, extendable depending on the execution of the assignment detailed in this announcement, scheduled to last until May 2028 under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan or funded by European Union resources + Full-time work schedule.
