OTIS, the national and global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, is hiring ELEVATOR TECHNICIANS in TORRELAVEGA: As an ELEVATOR TECHNICIAN, your responsibilities will include: * Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment within your assigned area. * Proactively responding to malfunction diagnosis and repairs to achieve effective solutions. * Carrying out assigned repairs to ensure continuous operation. * Maintaining direct contact with customers to build strong working relationships. * Proactively implementing technical improvements and upgrades. * Advising customers on how to improve equipment performance. * Complying with established safety and environmental standards. To succeed in this role, we require: EDUCATION: Mandatory possession of an Elevator Maintenance Certificate or one of the following qualifications: CFGS Higher Technician in Industrial Mechatronics; CFGS Higher Technician in Electromechanical Maintenance; CFGS Higher Technician in Industrial Equipment Maintenance; CFGM Technician in Electromechanical Installation and Maintenance of Machinery and Power Transmission Lines. The following IMAQ certifications are also valid: IMAQ 0110 Installation and Maintenance of Elevators and Other Fixed Lifting and Transport Equipment; IMAQ 0210 Development of Lifting, Handling, and Transport Installation Projects; IMAQ 0108 Mechanical Maintenance and Assembly of Industrial Equipment; IMAQ 0208 Planning, Management, and Execution of Maintenance and Supervision of Assembly for Machinery, Industrial Equipment, and Automated Production Lines; FMEE0208 Assembly and Commissioning of Industrial Equipment and Machinery. Industrial Engineering degrees are also acceptable. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years’ experience preferred in elevator maintenance/assembly. In the absence of prior experience, completion of one of the vocational training programs listed above (see Certification / Education section) is required. TOOLS: Electronic and digital tools OTHER REQUIREMENTS: * Valid Class B driver’s license is mandatory.
