Supervising and attending to students during meal service We are seeking a kitchen assistant for an educational center in Palos de la Frontera (Huelva). The selected candidate must hold a technical qualification in cooking and a food handler’s certificate. Key duties include preparing and seasoning meals according to the head chef’s instructions, managing supplies, verifying the weight of goods, and proposing restocking of items. The candidate will also perform butchering of meat or fish to achieve optimal yield and assist in cleaning and maintaining departmental machinery (cooking plates, ovens, fryers, exhaust systems, etc.). Additionally, as this position is within school dining facilities operated by the Andalusian Regional Government, kitchen staff are also responsible for cleaning and maintaining dining utensils, as well as supervising, caring for, and attending to students during meal service. A full-time interim contract is offered, with working hours from 08:00 to 15:00, and a monthly salary of 1500 euros.
