We are currently seeking a **Cook (Health, Social, and/or Elderly Care).** **We offer:** * **Temporary contract for vacation coverage.** * **Weekend working hours: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.** * Weekend shift. * Salary according to the Collective Agreement for Collective Catering. * Opportunity to work within a collaborative and dynamic team. * The chance to join a leading company that values and rewards employee effort and dedication: continuous training plan, social benefits, professional development. **Responsibilities** * Prepare meals, ensure compliance with defined menus and technical specifications, and implement good practices. * Prepare standard and adapted menus and diets. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure proper organization and workflow. * Monitor inventory of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed. * Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations — APPCC recordkeeping. * Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks in the work area, and monitor the use of machinery, materials, and equipment. * Train new team members on kitchen practices and company procedures. Final decisions in the selection process will always be made by people, who consider the full range of competencies and experiences of each candidate.* Preferred education in Hospitality: Technician in Culinary Arts or equivalent. * **Proven experience as a cook for at least 2 years, preferably in collective catering or similar environments.** * In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and/or workplace hygiene standards (APPCC). * Ability to work efficiently and manage one’s own time in a calm work environment. * Problem-solving skills and strong communication ability. * Personal vehicle and/or availability to commute to the workplace. * Teamwork orientation. * Flexible availability regarding working hours.
