Job Summary: We are seeking a CNC sheet metal bender to interpret engineering drawings, program machines, set up, operate, and adjust equipment, perform quality control, and maintain high-precision machinery. Perform quality control and machinery maintenance At Grupo Mecosa, a specialist in passive fire protection, we are looking to incorporate a CNC sheet metal bender into our team in Casarrubios del Monte to participate in high-precision technical projects. Key duties of a CNC sheet metal bender include: * **Interpretation of drawings and programs**: Read engineering drawings (CAD) and work orders to understand bending specifications, angles, and dimensions. * **CNC programming**: Input or load programs into the machine controller, defining the bending sequence, back gauge position, and material parameters. * **Machine setup**: Select and install appropriate punches and dies, adjust pressure, and calibrate safety lasers if required. * **Material preparation**: Load sheet metal into the machine, ensuring it is clean and properly aligned. * **Operation and adjustment**: Execute the program, monitor the process, and make real-time corrections to control speed, force, and prevent metal deformation or cracking. * **Quality control**: Inspect bent parts using calipers and measuring devices to verify compliance with required tolerances. * **Maintenance and safety**: Keep the machine clean and perform basic maintenance tasks; always operate with full attention to moving parts and safety systems.
