




Job Summary: We are seeking a Social Educator to work with minors and their families, promoting an appropriate developmental environment and respectful treatment, while eradicating violence. Key Responsibilities: 1. Educational intervention with minors and their families. 2. Promotion of positive parenting and eradication of violence. 3. Creation of an appropriate developmental environment and individualized support. **Minimum Requirements:** ----------------------- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Social Education (preferred), and/or a diploma or Bachelor’s degree in the socio-educational field. Proficiency in both intellectual and practical strategies required for the role. Ability to serve as a behavioral role model for minors. Possession of a certificate confirming absence of criminal records related to sexual offenses. Strong motivation for educational work with minors. High capacity for learning. Enthusiastic, committed, and other-oriented. **Job Responsibilities:** ---------------------- Among others, this position entails the following duties: SOCIAL EDUCATORS: * Conduct, together with the social worker and psychologist, the assessment of the minor’s family unit. * Collaborate with the rest of the team to develop and implement each minor’s Priority Intervention Objectives Project (POPI), ensuring individualized support for each assigned child or adolescent (NNA), and fostering a welcoming climate with each of them. * Provide family accompaniment focused on promoting/educating about respectful treatment, shared responsibility, and positive parenting; encouraging positive learning methods; and eliminating physical or psychological punishment and violence within the family context—with special attention to families where violence has occurred or currently exists. This intervention continues for as long as the minor remains in the service. * Ensure adequate coverage of all basic needs of the minors in care—whether health-related, emotional, educational, or related to leisure and free time. * Establish an appropriate developmental environment across all domains within group homes. * Communicate internal rules and operational norms, establish necessary boundaries for proper service functioning, and demonstrate appropriate behavioral models. * Convey inclusive social norms; assist in channeling impulses, listening actively, and resolving conflicts appropriately in each case. * Support in all daily life activities. * Respond to all emergencies or incidents involving children or adolescents (NNA) during one’s shift. **Contract Type:** --------------------- * Temporary replacement contract **Work Schedule:** ------------ * Full-time **Working Hours:** -------------------- Full-time schedule.
