Our client, Cidatum, is the Data Technology Research Center promoted by La Rioja Digital. It commenced operations in 2024 with the objective of positioning itself as a reference center for research, development, and innovation in fields such as Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Cloud Edge Computing, and Quantum Technologies.
Following the initial setup and consolidation phase, the center now seeks to appoint a Scientific-Technical Director to lead its scientific-technological strategy, coordinate research and development teams, and drive R&D&i projects in data technologies and advanced digital innovation.
The selected candidate will report directly to the center’s General Management and will be ultimately responsible for defining the center’s scientific-technical research lines, ensuring project quality, and facilitating knowledge transfer to enterprises and productive sectors.
**Key Responsibilities**
. Define Cidatum’s scientific-technical strategy.
. Coordinate research and technological development teams.
. Ensure technical and methodological quality of projects, prototypes, demonstrators, and deliverables.
. Promote knowledge and technology transfer to enterprises.
. Coordinate scientific-technical collaboration with universities, research centers, and other technology centers.
. Design and supervise R&D&i projects.
. Provide technical support in preparing collaborative proposals and projects.
. Identify emerging technological trends and new opportunities for applied research.

REQUIREMENTS
. University degree in Computer Engineering or related fields, with solid expertise in data technologies, artificial intelligence, IoT, cloud computing, advanced analytics, or digital architectures.
. Experience in applied research, technical management, technological projects, R&D&i, digital transformation, or the digital economy.
. Experience coordinating technical or research teams.
. Experience collaborating with universities, technology centers, or innovation entities.
. Strong analytical, planning, resource management, and team leadership capabilities.
. High level of English (minimum C1).
