Description
This position is part of the general facilities maintenance department of a food industry company, with the primary objective of ensuring operational continuity and production process efficiency. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining the systems that constitute the plant's essential infrastructure in optimal condition, serving as a key element in preventing unplanned shutdowns and ensuring a safe and reliable working environment. Activities focus on comprehensive supervision and care of facilities, covering areas from energy management to the water cycle, requiring constant and methodical attention.
The company offers an initial contract through a Temporary Work Agency (ETT), with realistic prospects of subsequent indefinite-term incorporation into the permanent workforce, providing job stability. The working schedule is full-time, 40 hours per week, on a split shift from Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary aligned with the sector's Collective Bargaining Agreement. A Medium or Higher Vocational Training qualification in technical fields related to maintenance—such as Refrigeration and Heating, Electromechanics, or Plumbing—is required. Basic knowledge of identifying and resolving faults in general installations is necessary, along with at least one year of demonstrable experience in a similar industrial environment. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to solve problems in real time, possess a proactive and positive attitude, and have flexible availability to adapt to service requirements. The ability to work effectively in a team and follow established procedures is fundamental to performing this role.
