The professional will perform essential technical diagnosis and analysis functions in the automotive field, focusing primarily on suspension and damping systems. Their daily tasks will involve the methodical identification of faults by inspecting components to detect issues such as fluid leaks, abnormal noises, or irregular wear patterns indicating malfunction. This diagnostic process is fundamental to accurately determining whether a part requires repair or must be fully replaced, thereby ensuring vehicle safety and performance. A significant portion of the responsibilities involves inspecting warranty-covered parts. In this context, the technician will evaluate returned components, carefully analyzing whether the reported failure originates from a manufacturing defect or, conversely, results from incorrect installation or improper use by the end customer. This forensic analysis is crucial for claim management and for continuous quality process improvement. Additionally, the position provides valuable support to the production department through analysis of defective shock absorbers. The technician will investigate root causes of failures under load, delivering detailed reports that contribute to optimizing manufacturing methods and quality control. Concurrently, they will manage documentation, recording all technical assistance cases and preparing comprehensive reports on product performance and reliability, thereby creating a vital technical history for the company.
