We are looking for an **EHS Technician** (Environment, Health \& Safety) for our production plant located in Tafalla. Under the supervision of the EHS Coordinator and the Plant Manager, the EHS Technician at the Tafalla plant will be responsible for leading preventive and corrective actions necessary to ensure compliance with environmental legislation and occupational health and safety regulations, minimizing the impact of Refresco Iberia's operations on the environment and enhancing worker safety. **Key Responsibilities:** * Collaborates with their supervisor in defining the annual budget for their area of responsibility according to organizational guidelines, planning investments and resource needs for the year, monitoring budget compliance, and proposing corrective actions. * Works with the Plant Manager and EHS Coordinator to establish environmental, safety, and hygiene objectives for the plant, proposing work plans and targets, monitoring progress, analyzing causes of deviations, and suggesting corrective measures. * Conducts internal audits based on corporate procedures and emerging needs to ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental standards across Refresco Iberia plants. * Identifies preventive and/or corrective actions (if necessary) following these audits and follows up to verify their effectiveness. * Collaborates with the Human Resources Department in identifying employee training needs related to environment and industrial safety, proposing training initiatives and supporting their implementation and follow-up. * Delivers training activities on workplace safety and environmental topics to employees, including onboarding sessions, refresher courses, etc. * Performs necessary checks to ensure the plant complies with environmental legal requirements (transportation, loading and unloading of hazardous goods; legionella prevention; well water consumption; waste discharge control, atmospheric emissions, chemical product storage, etc.). * Prepares investigation reports for minor workplace accidents occurring at the plant, analyzing causes and consequences, and proposing preventive actions to avoid similar incidents in the future. * Collaborates with external prevention service providers in developing prevention systems for Refresco Iberia plants and, together with the Plant Manager and EHS Coordinator, supervises the implementation and compliance with established safety measures by employees. * Determines individual protective equipment (PPE) requirements for each Refresco Iberia plant, manages relationships with suppliers, handles procurement, reviews delivery receipts, and monitors product quality. * Conducts safety inspections and audits at the plant according to the frequency and control points defined in procedures, establishing action guidelines and reporting findings to the External Prevention Service (SPA) and EHS Coordinator. * Ensures that external organizations carry out mandatory reviews, inspections, and other legally required compliance activities according to applicable safety regulations, maintaining an updated list of all applicable national and regional legal requirements. **Position Requirements** * University degree (Diploma, Bachelor’s, Engineering, etc.): Bachelor's in Environmental Sciences, Food Science and Technology, Chemical Engineering, or related fields. * Bachelor's degree * Mandatory Master’s Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention – 3 Specializations * Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar roles * Intermediate to advanced level of English **Competencies:** * Proactivity * Decision-making and problem-solving * Direct communication and transparency * Engagement and commitment * Results orientation * Teamwork * Attention to order and quality * Flexibility and versatility **What we offer:** * We will help you identify and develop your strengths, nurture your potential, and provide you with the training and space to thrive. * Work for a multinational certified as a Great Place to Work. * Be part of a team with over 75 production plants across Europe, the U.S., Canada, Australia, and Mexico. * Language training * Physiotherapy services **Recruitment Process** ------------------------------- **1** Do you think you have what we're looking for?
