As the Structural Project Engineer III you will be responsible for developing applications that will analyze and optimize solar mounting systems using advanced Excel tools and programming languages. This role requires extensive collaboration with other Array Technologies teams and engineering contractors to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget. **Key Job Responsibilities:**
* Design, analyze, and optimize solar mounting systems for assigned projects (metallic structures)
* Apply international building codes, standards, and engineering principles to analyze and design tracker structures, connections, and components using analytical tool based and computational based methods
* Develop and maintain advanced Excel tools and macros to facilitate solar mounting system design, analysis, and product configuration
* Utilize programming languages such as VBA, Python, or MATLAB to enhance the functionality of Excel tools, macros, and in\-house software platforms
* Act as customer’s primary technical consultant during the project phase. Provide technical support to the customer on design, drawings, loads calculation, and product related discussions
