**Ingeteam**, a leading company specialized in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators and frequency converters, is looking to incorporate a professional with **Industrial Engineering Degree, specialization in Electricity/Electronics/Telecommunications** for **design, development and validation of EMBEDDED FIRMWARE/SOFTWARE for power electronic converters.** ***RESPONSIBILITIES:*** * Design and programming of FW / Embedded software for power converters * Design and programming of state machine modules, control, data logger, communications (CAN, Ethernet, …), low-level drivers (memory access, PWM, ADC, SPI …), high-level functions * Definition and execution of test protocols for converter FW validation * Generation of technical documentation for internal use or delivery to INGETEAM Business Units * Provide support for resolving incidents arising in applications of INGETEAM Business Units integrating HW/SW from the Technology Area * Ensure compliance with project planning deadlines ***EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS:*** * University degree in Industrial Engineering / Electronics / Telecommunications * Postgraduate education in Power Electronics, Electronics and Automation will be valued * Essential requirement of minimum 5 years’ experience in similar roles * Programming in C / C\+\+ in real-time multitasking environments * Knowledge of Processors (ARM M4\-M7 type MCUs, iMx6\-iMX8 type MPUs, DSPs) and peripheral handling (PWM, ADC, SPI, I2C, UART, …) * Knowledge of real-time operating systems (FreeRTOS for MCUs, Linux for MPUs, Baremetal for MCUs) * Ability to develop Ethernet-based communications (TCP\-IP / UDP) and experience developing with field buses (CAN) * Desirable knowledge in Security (IEC 62443\) and Safety (standards equivalent to 61508\) * Knowledge in control and power electronics ***LANGUAGE AND PERSONAL SKILLS:*** * English, B2 level or higher. * Availability to travel to other Ingeteam centers. Class B1 driver's license required. * Responsible, solution-oriented and proactive person.
