At **HOVIMA Hotels**, we are seeking a **Station Chef** to serve as the operational hub of the kitchen, ensuring the proper execution of dishes and compliance with the establishment’s quality, presentation, cleanliness, organization, and service standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Coordinate the kitchen team: shifts, tasks, leave requests, and vacations, in coordination with the Head Chef and Sous Chef. * Supervise dish preparation and presentation, guaranteeing quality, consistency, and timely service. * Monitor food product quality and identify potential anomalies. * Train and support the operational team, resolving technical queries and ensuring mastery of recipes and processes. * Oversee cleanliness, order, and maintenance of facilities, utensils, and equipment. * Implement hygiene protocols (HACCP) and report technical incidents for repair or replacement. * Collect and implement feedback from maîtres regarding customer preferences or suggestions to enhance service. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Higher Vocational Training qualification in **Culinary Management, Culinary Arts and Gastronomy**, or equivalent. * Technical-operational knowledge of kitchen operations. * Up-to-date training in **hygiene and health regulations (HACCP)**. * Proficiency in IT tools applied to kitchen management, especially **Excel**, for recipe costing, budgeting, and planning. * Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities. **Experience** * Minimum of 1 **year of experience** in a similar role, preferably within hotels, catering services, or high-volume restaurants. **Candidate Profile** * High level of organization and leadership. * Ability to work under pressure and make swift, effective decisions. * Commitment, responsibility, and focus on quality and teamwork. * Flexibility in working hours according to hotel operational needs. **Would you like to join the HOVIMA team?** Develop your career with a leading company in the hospitality sector, supported by a professional team and a dynamic, continuously growing work environment.
