Role with direct impact on store performance **Job Objective** Roots \& Rise is managing the recruitment of a **Restaurant Manager** for a renowned international *bakery \& café* chain with an established presence in Barcelona. The objective is to hire a stable candidate to lead the full store operation, ensuring quality standards, service, and customer experience aligned with the company's identity. This role requires professionals with experience in end-to-end retail outlet management, team leadership, and operational control in high-pressure environments. **Responsibilities** * **Team Management:** Shift scheduling, task allocation, performance monitoring, and team development (approx. 20 people). * **Daily Operations:** Oversight of kitchen, dining area, customer service, and cleaning, ensuring compliance with operational standards. * **Administrative Management:** Inventory control, order placement, and tracking of operational costs. * **Training and Supervision:** Guiding the team on processes, service delivery, and brand standards. * **Customer Service:** Ensuring an excellent customer experience and handling incidents. * **Regulatory Compliance:** Food safety, hygiene, and occupational risk prevention. * **Cost Control:** Monitoring food, beverage, and labor expenses to maximize profitability. * **Business Growth:** Participation in promotions, commercial initiatives, and strategies to increase sales. * **Staff Recruitment:** Conducting interviews and supporting hiring processes. * **Analysis and Reporting:** Tracking KPIs, preparing reports, and implementing improvement plans. **Requirements** * 2–3 years of experience in similar positions. * Experience leading teams of more than 10 people. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. * Operational mindset and commitment to continuous improvement. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Familiarity with POS systems, inventory tools, and management software. * Ability to foster a team culture aligned with the company’s strategy. * English level B2\. **What We Offer** * Permanent full-time contract (rotating shifts) * Monthly bonus scheme tied to performance objectives. * Meal vouchers. * Expansion project with development opportunities. * Dynamic environment with direct operational involvement. * Role with direct impact on store performance.
