The company TALLERS SERRA, S.L., a manufacturer of industrial machinery for the corrugated cardboard sector located in Martorell, is seeking to fill the position of Mechanical Industrial Machinery Engineer. Your primary responsibility will be designing mechanical machinery for the corrugated cardboard industry, contributing to continuous improvement of production processes, reducing costs, enhancing industrial production quality, and generating value in terms of efficiency. The short project lead time—just 6 months from customer order to machine delivery—enables rapid learning.  Perform overall conceptual and mechanical design of machinery.  Define conceptual design of prototypes: • Collect and document customer requirements • Define potential solutions • Define mechanical specifications • Define electrical and pneumatic functionality, and communicate requirements to electrical engineers • Safety • Sustainability  Perform mechanical design of machinery • Design parts and assemblies using Solid Edge or SolidWorks • Generate drawings of designed parts or supervise drafters performing this task • Document and present performed calculations  Project management • Define scope • Plan schedule • Identify risks and define contingency plans • Define quality criteria • Maintain fluent communication with stakeholders, especially customers  Implement innovative technical solutions to improve quality and efficiency  Conduct field tests  Conduct tests on machinery during conceptual design phase  Conduct tests on designed and manufactured machinery  Project development  Mechanical manufacturing  Evaluate performance of industrial systems and recommend adjustments to improve efficiency * 5 years’ experience. Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial machinery design * Bachelor’s degree or Engineering qualification * English (advanced spoken and written) * Spanish (advanced spoken and written) * Catalan (advanced spoken and written) * Competencies / Knowledge: • Ability to identify problems and propose effective solutions • Experience coordinating and supervising work teams • Effective communication skills to interact with various departments and organizational levels, as well as with customers • Proactive and solution-oriented individual • Ability to analyze data, processes, and systems to identify improvements  Minimum academic qualification: Mechanical Industrial Engineer  Minimum requirements: • Proficiency in at least one CAD software (SolidWorks or Solid Edge) • Knowledge of mechanical components and machining processes • Creativity and proactivity • Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial machinery design • High-level proficiency in English, Spanish, and Catalan. * Availability of personal vehicle * Willingness to travel * Permanent employment contract * Full-time position * Gross monthly salary ranging from '3500' to '3750' * Other relevant information: Working hours  Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.  Flexible working hours around standard office hours: • Monday to Thursday: 07:30–13:30 and 14:15–17:00 • Friday: 07:30–13:45 Salary Competitive salary commensurate with candidate’s experience and expertise, along with professional development opportunities. • Occasional travel required • Residence near Martorell • Immediate start
