Focused on solution development (not system administrators) Advanced knowledge of operating systems Linux is mandatory. Cloud infrastructure administration: Amazon Web Services and OpenStack. Configuration management tools: Ansible, Puppet, etc. Advanced scripting skills (including API usage): Bash, Python, etc. Continuous integration tools: Bamboo, Jenkins, etc. Distributed version control systems: Git, Mercurial, etc. Knowledge, interest, and curiosity regarding DevOps philosophy.
