Therefore, we offer an Internship Program for recent university graduates who wish to join a collaborative learning model aimed at acquiring professional competencies. For this internship, we seek recent graduates in **Civil or Industrial Engineering**, or any equivalent degree, or those pending completion of their Final Year Project (TFG), to join through an internship in the **"Engineering Support Iberia"** area in Madrid. **What does the Unit do?** Engineering Support Iberia is the unit responsible for providing cross-disciplinary support to various engineering disciplines (Solar, Wind, BESS, Hydro Repowering, Combined Cycles, Gas Turbines and Diesel Engines, Civil, Electrical, and Environmental) throughout the entire lifecycle of renewable generation projects. Its activities include portfolio project monitoring, coordination of support resources and teams, management of engineering framework contracts, activity and insourcing reporting, process standardization, bid support, and implementation of digital tools to enhance operational efficiency. The department plays a key role in the digital transformation of Iberia Engineering, driving process automation, integration of digital tools, and adoption of innovative technologies to improve productivity, design quality, and data-driven decision-making. **What will you contribute to?** You will join the Engineering Support Iberia team and participate in initiatives focused on continuous improvement and digitalization of engineering processes. Key activities include: * Analysis of internal engineering processes to identify opportunities for automation and reduction of repetitive tasks. * Development and testing of solutions based on Artificial Intelligence, Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, Power BI, Excel, and other corporate digital tools. * Creation of dashboards and automated reports for project tracking, activity KPIs, and engineering reporting. * Support in building knowledge bases, procedures, and standardized documentation using generative AI tools. * Automation of collection, processing, and analysis of information from various corporate sources. * Collaboration on digital transformation projects aimed at improving efficiency in design, bidding, contractual monitoring, and reporting processes. * Development of prototypes and pilot tests for AI applications targeting automatic report generation, document analysis, data extraction, and user assistance. * Support in identifying and measuring time and productivity savings resulting from the implementation of new digital tools. * Participation in continuous improvement, digitalization, and innovation initiatives promoted by Iberia Engineering. The main objective of this internship is to contribute to the evolution of Engineering Support toward a more efficient, digital, and data-driven work model—leveraging Artificial Intelligence capabilities to simplify administrative tasks, standardize processes, and increase time dedicated to higher-value-added activities. **What you will learn** You will learn how engineering processes are managed and optimized within a multinational energy-sector environment, gaining hands-on experience in automation, data analytics, digital tools, and Artificial Intelligence applied to continuous improvement, project management, and organizational digital transformation. **What qualifications and knowledge are required?** This internship targets candidates with a background in Civil or Industrial Engineering, preferably. **Additional knowledge/skills:** * \- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)\- Analytical mindset, results orientation, and innovative spirit.\- Interest in digital transformation applied to engineering and renewable energy projects.\- Basic knowledge of the energy sector, renewable energies, or infrastructure engineering.\- Orientation toward digitalization, automation, standardization, and continuous process improvement aligned with Iberia Engineering’s digital transformation and digital engineering initiatives.Additional merits include:\- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query, advanced formulas, and report automation).\- Academic experience or projects related to AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science.\- Interest and basic knowledge of Generative Artificial Intelligence (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or equivalent tools).\- Development of virtual assistants, AI agents, or LLM-based solutions.\- Knowledge of SQL and database management.\- Familiarity with project management tools (Microsoft Planner, Jira, etc.).\- Basic programming in Python, VBA, or languages oriented toward data processing and analysis. * English: C1 level; Italian is a plus. **What do we offer?** Internship at Endesa, **SWING Program:** * Monthly gross stipend of €900.00. * Schedule: Hybrid — 35-hour weekly working week. * Workplace in Spain: Av. Ribera del Loira 60, Madrid. Endesa internships last nine months and consist of two components: Practical Training in the Company and Academic Training. Practical Training in the Company entails full-time work Monday through Friday, 17 working days of annual leave, and a gross monthly stipend of €900.
