Collaborate with internal and external teams for full-funnel consistency. **Hi!** At Shakers we're looking for a passionate **SEO \& SEM Manager (with strong SEO background and SEM coordination experience)** to help accelerate our growth via organic and paid search channels. ### **1\. Team and Role** At Shakers, we’re building the future of work by connecting companies with top freelance talent and AI\-powered solutions. To accelerate our growth, we’re expanding our marketing team and looking for a **SEO \& SEM Manager** to strengthen one of our most strategic acquisition pillars. As a **SEO \& SEM Manager** you will take ownership of our organic performance channels and coordinate our paid search efforts. You will play a central part in driving high\-quality leads and shaping our long\-term performance strategy. **The role requires solid SEO experience as a must, plus the ability to coordinate SEM campaigns executed by agencies or freelancers (you don’t need to execute them directly).** You'll work closely with the Marketing and Product teams, will manage 1–2 team members and will drive results through smart planning, testing, and iteration. ### **2\. What you´ll be doing** *Your day\-to\-day as a SEO \+ SEM Manager at Shakers* * Define and lead our **SEO and SEM growth strategy**, aligned with company OKRs and growth objectives. You will help build our positioning both in the Spanish market (core) and several European countries over the coming years, as part of our expansion strategy. * Manage, optimize, and scale performance marketing campaigns across **Google Ads**, Display, Retargeting and Search networks. You will also be responsible for **testing emerging answer engines** and developing a dedicated strategy to **position Shakers** prominently **in AI\-powered search environments** like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini. This includes optimizing for AI Overviews, enhancing our digital presence to earn citations in generative answers, and aligning content with E\-E\-A\-T principles and topic\-based search behavior. Your mission will be to ensure Shakers is consistently recognized as a trusted source in LLM\-driven interfaces. * Conduct regular **SEO audits** and lead implementation of on\-site and off\-site SEO improvements with internal and external collaborators. You will closely follow and understand competitors’ positioning and related trends to implement them into our strategy. * Build and evolve a **keyword strategy**, content roadmap to grow high\-intent traffic. * Develop a modern **link\-building strategy** oriented toward increasing Shakers’ presence in AI\-powered search results. This includes securing mentions in authoritative sources, digital PR, and earned media that improve our visibility and citability within LLMs and answer engines. * Develop and manage **dashboards, reports, and analysis** to monitor key metrics (CPL, CAC, ROAS, etc.), and make data\-driven decisions. You will be responsible for proposing quarterly strategies and preparing monthly reports for the management team. * Collaborate with our **technical expert freelance** and support **content stakeholders** presenting clear guidelines and goals to execute the roadmap efficiently. * **Align SEO and SEM efforts** with brand, product, marketing, and CRM/CRO strategies to **ensure full\-funnel consistency**. You will collaborate closely with other Shakers stakeholders to be aligned on changing needs or upcoming campaigns to amplify impact with a 360 approach. ### **3\. What we´re looking for** *You´re a great fit if you...* * **Have 3–5 years of experience in SEO \& SEM, preferably in a fast\-paced B2B or marketplace environment.** * Know how to **plan strategically**, but also enjoy rolling up your sleeves to get things done. * Are highly skilled with tools like **Google Ads, Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs**, **Sistrix, Screaming Frog**, etc. * Are comfortable analyzing performance metrics and identifying actionable insights to improve **ROI and growth**. * Can **communicate effectively** with internal teams and external partners. * Thrive in **autonomous environments** and bring a proactive, growth\-oriented mindset. * Passionate about **the future of work, marketplaces, and innovation**. * Fluent in **Spanish and English** (a must). ### **4\.
