**Job Description** We are seeking a Cloud Backend Analyst/Developer on AWS to join our team and help design, optimize, and scale microservice-based architectures. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing distributed systems with a focus on efficiency, latency, and scalability. **Responsibilities** * Design and develop backend architectures hosted on AWS. * Develop architecture components in Python that integrate between channels and the event-driven architecture. * Collaborate with other development and infrastructure teams to improve production system efficiency. **Requirements** * Experience designing and developing production-ready backend middleware architectures. * Experience defining, developing, and securing REST and WebSocket APIs. * Experience developing middleware for efficient payload transformation and system integration, handling concurrency, threading, and retry policies. * Prior use of Python microservices in production and high-demand environments. * Experience with AWS ALB and Fargate stacks. * Minimum 5 years of development experience. * Basic security knowledge (OAuth, mTLS, whitelisting, etc.). **Desirable** * Knowledge of latency optimization and resilience techniques for middleware architecture components. * Experience with caching technologies to improve real-time performance (Redis, Memcached, Valkey, etc.). * Programming in Golang and/or Java. * Experience using CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins, etc.). * Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools. * Knowledge of FinOps.
