POZUELO DE ALARCON, 50\-1 JOB MISSION We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure and Operations Technician specializing in Workplace Engineering to join our team, responsible for leading the evolution and innovation of the Mapfre Iberia Workplace. You will integrate into a dynamic and technical team with strong capacity for continuous learning, focused on innovation and highly oriented toward problem resolution and goal achievement, which must guarantee the availability, observability, evolution, performance, service levels, and compliance of the Mapfre Iberia Workplace Platform. This team closely collaborates with all business and technical areas to understand Mapfre Iberia’s needs, operates according to market-driven technology evolution timelines, and is responsible for implementing improvements and changes transparently to end users. Reporting to the Iberia Infrastructure and Operations Directorate \- Workplace Engineering Department JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (KEY FUNCTIONS) Workplace Platform Management and Evolution: Administration, maintenance, and evolution of devices and management tools. Ensure availability, security, and efficiency of the Workplace ecosystem. Specialized Technical Support (Engineering Level): Act as the advanced escalation point for recurring incidents and issues that cannot be resolved by lower-tier support (Levels 1, 2, and 3), ensuring rapid resolution and minimizing impact on user productivity. Evolutionary and Corrective Maintenance: Implement and manage updates, security patches, and service packs for Workplace tools to ensure stability, performance, and compliance. Capacity and Performance Management: Actively monitor platform resource consumption (storage, licenses, compute capacity) to anticipate bottlenecks and propose scalability measures. Service Inventory Management: Maintain comprehensive records and documentation of all services, components, and configurations within the Workplace environment. Observability: Responsible for implementation, configuration, and maintenance of observability tools to provide a 360-degree view of the Workplace ecosystem’s health. Proactive Data Analysis: Analyze performance data, error logs, and incident reports to propose improvements and self-remediation actions. Optimization and Automation: Propose and implement automation solutions (via scripts, Azure DevOps, or Power Platform) for repetitive operational tasks, improving team efficiency and response speed to issues. Architecture Assurance: Ensure adherence to defined architecture and development standards, verifying that new implementations are robust, secure, and scalable. Technical Communication: Prepare status reports on platform health (availability, performance, HA, DR, and compliance). Participate in technical committees and executive presentations. Team Coordination: Serve as the technical liaison between Operations, Solutions, and Security teams, facilitating integration of platform components. Supervise and lead external technical teams. Adoption and Onboarding: Technically lead Workplace tool adoption initiatives, ensuring underlying infrastructure can support increased user load and new functionalities. Research, Innovation, and Optimization: Evaluate emerging technologies and market trends. Proactively identify technical improvements for the Workplace. Manage budget responsibly and optimize costs. EDUCATION AND REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE Technical or Superior Degree in Computer Systems Engineering or Telecommunications. Advanced experience with the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including collaboration, automation, and management systems. (Azure DevOps, Log Analytics, Netapp) Strong knowledge of Virtual Desktop infrastructures: Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 Advanced knowledge of INTUNE (configuration, compliance, security, applications) and Autopilot Advanced knowledge of System Configuration Manager, evolving toward CoManagement. Advanced knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS) Advanced knowledge of software and web applications in modern and legacy architectures. Advanced knowledge of cloud architectures (Azure and AWS), with focus on services supporting the Workplace. Advanced knowledge of systems (servers, connectivity) Advanced knowledge of Workplace-related management tools: Active Directory, Entra ID Intermediate knowledge of Networking Advanced knowledge of DevOps, Graph, PowerShell, Terraform. Basic scripting knowledge. Intermediate knowledge of system hardening Advanced knowledge of observability (Azure Monitor, Grafana, Elastic, Nexthink, Systrack, etc...)
