Job Summary:
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer Specializing in Protection Systems to define and manage control, protection, and coordination systems in power generation and transformation projects.

Through our engineering division P\&PD (ATS Global), we are managing the recruitment process for an Electrical Engineer Specializing in Protection Systems on behalf of one of our clients headquartered in Madrid.
Responsibilities:
* Definition of control and protection systems.
* Definition and preparation of single-line diagrams for protection and metering systems in generation and transformation facilities, substations, and transmission lines.
* Preparation of protection setting and coordination criteria.
* Preparation of procurement specifications for protection and metering cubicles.
* Evaluation of offers for protection and metering cubicles.
* Coordination and setting calculations for protection systems in generation facilities, substations, and transmission lines.
* Preparation of control schematics and wiring diagrams for protection systems.
* Review of manufacturer documentation and commissioning support.
* Coordination with clients and electricity companies.
* Project and personnel management.
* Technical commercial support for preparing offers.
* University degree in Electrical Engineering.
* Knowledge of electrical standards: IEC, European Directives, Spanish Regulations.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience as a protection specialist for transformers, generation systems, and substations.
* Advanced proficiency in ETAP. Experience with DigSilent is considered an advantage.
* English language proficiency at minimum B2 level.
* Permanent employment contract with the client’s payroll, offering attractive remuneration: fixed salary \+ variable component.
