We partner with our clients to turn their ambitions into action—and change the world for the better. **Job Description** We are seeking a leader to manage and lead a multidisciplinary design team, capable of operating seamlessly across multiple concurrent projects, fostering passion and enthusiasm for excellence in design and project delivery within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. You will provide creative direction and guidance to the team, develop and mentor team members, and support and empower team leads. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in railway project design and management, a proven track record of client engagement in this sector, and the motivation required to drive growth in this market—supporting business line leadership while working closely with the sector leader to expand it. This Senior Railway Architect must have extensive experience in developing and leading large-scale, highly complex functional transportation and infrastructure projects—both nationally in Spain and internationally. You will help develop and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients to generate both new and repeat business opportunities. As an innovative leader, you will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, a solutions-oriented approach, creative strategic development, sustainable design expertise, and an understanding of the business and financial implications of projects. **Requirements** * Over 10 years of experience in Transportation Architecture, including at least 10 years of experience in station design and management for railway infrastructure projects of varying scales. * Comprehensive knowledge and experience across the full railway project design process—from conceptual phase through construction and commissioning. * Technical understanding of disciplines involved in railway transportation projects beyond strictly architectural scope. * Excellent written, oral, and graphic communication and presentation skills. * International railway project experience is preferred. * Strong understanding of financial aspects of project leadership and management—and ability to manage budgets at the project level—is preferred. * University degree in Architecture or professional licensure/registration as an Architect. * Excellent spoken and written English is required. * High-level competence and experience in BIM environments (Revit \+ ACC), including AutoCAD, is required. * Willingness to travel is required. **Additional Information** **About AECOM** AECOM is the world’s trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering professional services across the project lifecycle—from advisory, planning, design, and engineering to program and construction management.
