You’ll analyze the local market to plan strategically and manage stock and resource planning to meet customer expectations. You’ll train and ensure store teams are engaged and achieving high performance. You’ll identify and develop talent at all levels, fostering a culture of learning and celebrating success. You’ll maintain consistent and effective communication with teams, Area Managers, and Regional Offices, using tools such as performance reviews and climate surveys. Regarding operations and cost control, you’ll ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, building a safe working culture and protecting people, assets, and facilities. You’ll manage controllable costs and seek savings opportunities, promoting the ethical and environmental initiatives of the Primark Cares programme to guarantee a positive and safe environment. In essence, you’ll define the vision and direction for the store, acting as a role model and driving continuous improvement to achieve strategic goals. **How would we like you to be?** We’re looking for someone with strong leadership skills and a high capability in people management. You must excel at building and maintaining professional relationships with colleagues and teams, supporting our sales initiatives through high-quality communication and a clear commercial vision. A solid background in store management will be essential, and experience in high-volume retail and distribution will be highly valued. Your ability to manage change, train others, and deliver high performance will ensure your success in this role. We seek a proactive leader with strong capabilities in making informed decisions, working under pressure, and anticipating risks. You must be self-motivated, fostering optimism, resilience, and adaptability to change—setting ambitious goals and driving development. Strong planning and organizational skills, along with the ability to meet agreed deadlines within a large-scale, fast-paced business, are vital.
